In today’s post I’ll be talking about some very clever solar lights called solar rock lights. If you’ve never seen solar rock lights before, you’re going to love them. Basically what they are is a solar light that is encased in a plastic or other composite material. Instead of simply installing solar lights that stick into the ground in your garden or landscaping, you can strategically position some of these handsome solar rock lights around your yard.
These rock lights have a solar panel that is molded into the rock for charging the battery. They are often constructed of fiberglass resin and other composite materials. In most cases, they will have LED light bulbs to make them more efficient and increase the length of time that the light will be able to shine. Most solar rock lights have photoelectric guy is so that they will automatically come on at night and automatically turn off in the morning when the sun comes up.
One of the beautiful things about solar powered rock lights is their extreme versatility. If you decide that you would like them in one location for a while but later you change your mind and think they would look nicer somewhere else, it’s extremely easy to simply pick them up and reposition them. Some solar powered rock lights produce colored light for an interesting effect. Solar rock lighting can also be easily used as walkway lighting to light your walkway at night.
